NOTICE IS HERBY GIVEN: The Regular Town Board Meetings for the Town of Scott have changed. They will now be held throughout 2025 at 6 p.m. on the second Monday of every month at The Town of Scott, Town Hall at 6689 State Route 41 Homer, NY 13077. The dates are as follows. March 10, 2025, April 14, 2025, May 12, 2025, June 9, 2025, July 14, 2025, August 11, 2025, September 8, 2025, October 14, 2023, November 10, 2025, December 8, 2025, by order of the Town of Scott Town Board.

            A Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Scott will be held at the Scott Town Hall, 6689 State Route 41, Homer NY 13077, on the 18th day of August, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., to approve a Municipal Cooperative Agreement with Greater Tompkins County Municipal Health Insurance Consortium.

The meeting will take place at the Scott Town Hall, located at 6689 NYS Route 41, Homer, New York 13077. The agenda includes budget modifications, a presentation of the Tentative Budget, and the scheduling of a date for the 2026 Tentative Budget Workshop.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Scott shall hold a Public Hearing on November 3, 2025, at 6:00 pm at the Town of Scott Town Hall, 6689 State Route 41, Homer, New York 13077. The purpose of the meeting is to holding a Public Hearing to consider final adoption of the Town Budget for fiscal year 2026. A copy of the 2026 preliminary budget is available to peruse at the town Hall during the clerk’s scheduled hours.

Pursuant to budget notice requirements contained in NYS Town Law, the proposed 2026 salaries of the following Officials are hereby specified as follows: Supervisor: $4,300.00 Councilperson: 4 @ $1,000.00 Town Clerk/Collector: $11,895.00 Town Justice: $7,000.00 Highway Superintendent: $53,000.00.
